You’ve taken the leap to create a stunning new real estate website through WordPress, and it’s time to make a decision about how you’ll approach your MLS integration. What happens now?

Before you pass the task off to your developer, it’s time to make a decision that will impact the success of your new website, and your business as a whole. There are a lot of WordPress-MLS integrations to choose from, but they are certainly not all created equal. Most of them, however, will require a sizable chunk of your budget. Our first piece of advice is: Don’t be intimidated by the price tag.

The fact is, obtaining a modern and customizable MLS integration service is going to drive up your development costs. But it doesn’t have to break your budget. Instead, take our second piece of advice: Do Your Research. Luckily, we’ve done the research for you, so now it’s your turn to decide which option is right for you and your budget.

Realtyna

One option that we highly recommend is Realtyna. The data structure available on the platform is highly customizable, and if, as we mentioned, you aren’t afraid of a slightly higher price tag, this service provides most everything you need. The MLS integration itself costs $700, and to gain access to additional features including a map radius search, there is a pro version of Realtyna that costs $149, one time. This flat fee means that this platform is actually much more affordable than many other options, which have monthly or annual subscription fees.

Wovax

More developer-friendly and slightly more affordable than Realtyna, Wovax is our other favorite WordPress-MLS integration service. It’s a subscription-based service, and allows for theme customization. It costs around $50 per month to be integrated on WordPress.

There are, of course, other MLS integration options, but most of them involve hidden fees, or require higher up-front costs. It’s important to keep in mind, whichever platform you go choose, that the MLS service is going to be the focal point of your website. It’s where your potential, and current, clients can discover the property of their dreams. It’s also an opportunity to build trust—if your website’s MLS search capability is user-friendly, beautiful, and modern, users will associate the same qualities with your business and properties as a whole. So, making an investment now has the potential to pay off very well in the future.
