Holiday Closures

Our goal as a company is to support small business owners while providing a workplace that supports its staff. To make sure our people can always come to work energized and ready to do great work, we’ve intentionally carved space into our company structure for work-life balance.

In part, this means we subscribe to an unlimited PTO policy, under which every team member is trusted to take the time they need when they need it for travel, sick days, and the holidays that are important to them. We also observe company holidays, closing the whole company to make sure our team knows it’s okay to take time off.

You can expect the following closures in 2024:

  • Monday, January 01 New Year’s Day (**)
  • Monday, February 19  Washington’s Birthday (*)
  • Monday, May 27 Memorial Day (*)
  • Wednesday, June 19 Juneteenth National Independence Day (*)
  • Thursday, July 4th & 5th Independence Day (**)
  • Monday, September 02 Labor Day (*)
  • Monday, October 14 Indigenous People’s Day (*)
  • Monday, November 11 Veterans Day (*)
  • Thursday, November 27, 28, 29 Thanksgiving Day (**)
  • Wednesday, December 23-27 Christmas Day (**)


*Soft Closure: Our team is invited to take time off, but some individuals may choose to work. Projects will continue as usual, but emails may not be answered until the next business day.

**Hard Closure: No work will take place, and no emails will be answered until the next business day. If a project timeline is set to be impacted by a closure, the project will be completed early.

All projects and email communication will run around these dates as normal. If you have an emergency during one of these dates, please text our company number and we will ensure everything gets taken care of.
